Ilaga, Puncak - MediaHabema – The Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA’s Task Force, the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, continues to demonstrate its dedication to both security and community engagement along the Indonesian-Papua New Guinea border, specifically in Puncak Regency, Papua Tengah Province.
On October 30, 2024, soldiers from the Wuloni Post, led by Captain Honest, carried out a Social Communication (Komsos) initiative while conducting a patrol in Kimak Village, Ilaga District. This initiative aims to foster cooperation and trust between the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) and local residents to support the Indonesian Government’s broader efforts to accelerate development across Papua.
During the patrol, the soldiers engaged with residents, addressing concerns about the community’s access to first-aid services. The Task Force carefully noted these concerns, promising to improve their readiness in assisting the community. While security remains a priority, moments like these allow soldiers to create meaningful connections with the people they serve.
